(Chair: Matt Riley, Associate Vice Chancellor for Innovation and Chief Information Officer). Learn about projects from the UIC community in developing innovative methods in AI computing and architecture.

3:10 – 3:40 pm.
Session 2: Data Sets for Knowledge Discovery
(Chair: Jeremy Riel, College of Education). Learn about how faculty are using AI to examine and infer insights from data of various types.

3:40 – 4:10 pm.
Session 3: AI Research Projects and Lessons Learned
(Chair: Fatemeh Sarayloo, College of Business). Hear from UIC faculty on important issues and perspectives related to using AI for research and scholarship.

Session 4: AI Safety
